Since I started snapchat (@iamchouquette) a few months ago I have changed the perspective of my blog. I have become more personal with you, more open and more interactive. The only reason I didn’t do it before was because I was shy, I thought no one cared, no one would want to watch or listen to me. It seems you do and it seems like everyone has realised I am not at all like the girl you see on my Instagram. Well I am, I do love CHANEL, clothes and shoes but there is much more to me. I used to chop my head off all my photos, I was so anti personal with you because I thought you just wanted to see my clothes; not my face or my personality. Every time I uploaded a selfie I lost fifty plus followers so this really knocked my confidence. Snapchat was a way of showing the real me and it makes me so happy when I receive lovely messages telling me how much you enjoy my daily snaps.

I am blown away with the response and I am so much more happier sharing the real me. I am full of jokes, I prank people daily and most of all you have seen I am a total scruff bag with an Essex accent and not a Chelsea one. I live in joggers and my pjs at home and I love nothing more than relaxing in my cashmere.

Today I want to share with you what I do on a Sunday. Sunday is my time to switch off and prepare for the week ahead. I do also seem to get the “Sunday fear” because I know Monday is coming but I guess we all get that? I never fully switch off being a blogger, I never take my eyes off the game, if I do then I won’t do well and know what’s happening. I constantly check and update my social media, I usually do some on line shopping with a cup of coffee in bed. Because I work from home I never work in my bed. It’s a rule I have, I try to keep my work space seperate from my relaxing living space. However on line shopping can happen anywhere and at any time!

Sundays are all about eating treats, Godiva chocolate covered strawberries are my favourite. My favourite Sunday hobby is to either re organise my wardrobe or re organised my CHANEL collection. To me it’s like taking drugs (I am full on addict) the whole start to finish process is so therapeutic. I feel so calm after I have put them all away and I know in my head its all neat and tidy. I find lots of lost make up and money so thats always fab. It also allows me to see how hard I am working. Each bag represents how hard I am working to provide myself with these luxuries. Luxuries I would never have dreamed of owning when I was younger. It also gives me fuel to work hard for the following week, maybe I can afford a new bag to add to the collection if I have a good week? I never thought five years ago I would be organising a CHANEL collection, working from home doing a job I love and in Swarovski covered cashmere, just shows if you work hard you can achieve anything. There is no stopping us.

I suffer from eczema (linked to the asthma) so fabrics are important to me and how it reacts to my skin. Up until a year ago I didn’t own one piece of cashmere. I always liked it but always thought it was too expensive. I have realised now yes it is expensive but when you where comfy clothes as much as me and have sensitive skin it’s so worth it. There is nothing nicer than coming home and getting changed into your tracksuit, or lazying all day in cashmere.

When I used to work at Harrods I remember my colleagues and I would head straight to Designer Studios on the first day of the sale to grab a Juicy Couture tracksuit. Every single one of us owned a Juicy Couture tracksuit to change into after a long day wearing a tight dress and heels. Since then this idea has stuck because the quality is great, they last and the leg length is perfect for me. Have you noticed that Juicy Couture tracksuit always make your bum look good?

When I saw the cashmere style, I was in love. The shade of grey was perfect (you know I love grey) and the shape of the bottoms were exactly what I look for; slim fitting to wear with my sneakers. This style is the pure luxury one from the new Swarovski range. The Swarovski collection can be seen here on the Harrods website. You can buy the collection in Harrods or in the Juicy Couture stores located at Regents Street and Westfield White City. The dark grey one I have been wearing on my snapchat can be found here. You can also get your tracksuit monogramed like I did.

How do you spend your Sunday’s?

A lot of you have also been asking me where all my furniture is from because you can see it in the background of my snaps. As promised I have taken some photos to show you my bedroom. I am moving soon so I have a whole new interior design plan. It involves a lot of this shop! I will be sharing this all on my blog soon but for now you can click the credits to see where my bed is from, which I had specially made.

Claire! If I had a bed like that I would never leave it! This has now been filed away in a compartment of my brain for my future home!

Thank you. It really wasn’t as expensive as it looks. Call the number I listed and get them to make you one. I always think it’s best to buy as much as possible before you move out. Less to pay for when you actually move! Just ask for Claire’s bed and they will know which one. xx
