CELEBRATING TEN YEARS WITH CHLOE IN PARIS

by Claire Chanelle

Paris

I was so honoured to attend the 10 year anniversary celebration for Chloé signiture perfume in Paris during Paris Fashion week. If you watch the vlog here you will noticed how over whelmed I was at times. Chloé did not disappoint either!

The day started off at The Peninsula hotel. This is where we got to smell the new Chloé scent and meet Haley Bennett who is the new face of the campaign. Hayley came across very sweet, humble and shy. I thought she was so ideal for this 10 year anniversary.

We then had a team lunch, just the UK team where half of us ordered club sandwiches 🙂 After lunch we had to hours free time. I chose this free time to shoot my look of the day, which is the look in these photos. I then quickly got changed, no time for  a shower and had to apply make up after make up; standard for fashion week!

We then rushed to the evening event where we were lucky enough to view the SS18 collection straight from the runway. The collection was so unpredictable. The vibe was still very much Chloé in the sense that the colour palette was similar, that feminine basis was there and so were the boho vibes but this season there was a little more edge and a little touch of masculinity. How perfect for me!

The drew bag had a chunky chain, the boots were heavy with large buckles, there were leather jackets and horse printed fabrics. It was a huge honour to view the first collection from Natacha Ramsay – Levi. If you would like to see the collection, click here to watch my video. I will share photos of my evening outfit in a few days. I also tell you more about the perfume and campaign.

Back to this look.

I planned my entire outfit around the cardigan. I am the biggest knitwear fan, you may have noticed? I loved the camel colour, the long length and pom pom details. I knew it was the perfect start to create my day look. I did not want to be too casual so I chose the patent mini skirt. I then chose the velvet boots to ensure I balanced out the patent leather with a fay time shoe. I chose an extra long white shirt because I really wanted the shirt to sit below the skirt hem line. If you are shorter than men this will work out better!

I hope this look has inspired you to mix and match day wear with evening wear and also encourage you to mix different lectures and fabrics together.
