This was my first look for day one of PFW SS16. When I am in Paris I feel like it is so much more full on compared to LFW and there is so much to cram in one day. It’s also not my own city so I want to see and do as much as possible. Therefore I need to be comfortable in flats (because there is so much walking) but obviously look totally fashion week ready. As soon as I saw this maxi dress I knew it would be perfect for Paris; the colours are great for the season, it’s glamorous but I can still wear flats. I wanted to wear chunky biker boots to keep it my style and less girly. I usually stay away from the 70s vibe as I am more of a 90s child or into 1920s beading, so this 70s look was new for me. It was a nice change, this dress has made me a maxi fan.
This dress is by WAREHOUSE and it is apart of their premier range. The quality is fab, the silk felt so nice to wear and it really did feel luxury. This dress is perfect for special occasions but you can also dress it down like I did.
I accessorised this look with some key pieces I can’t live with out; Chanel classic flap, Balmain blazer, Chanel boots and Finest Seven glasses. You can’t beat having go to, classic pieces like this in your wardrobe that you can wear over and over again.
My earrings are my new obsession. My friend bought them for me for my 30th birthday and I am so in love with them. I have been looking for ears cuffs for a while and waisted my money on a few pairs but they didn’t sit on my ear right. These are more chunky than any high street pair I found and they move so they can fit your ear perfectly. They are perfect for a gift and the price is reasonable.
I am back in London now but I have so many looks to share with you. I hope you enjoyed watching my behind the scenes moments on Snapchat (Iamchouquette/ClaireChanelle?) The key is to not take your self to seriously and have fun no matter where you are or who you are with.
