As I mentioned before, whilst in France we popped to Cannes for a couple of nights out. The first night we went to the more touristy places. Drinks at he Martinez Hotel and the Carlton Hotel followed by a night at Baôli.
We also went to The Black Pearl Pub, which I would recommend. It is more for locals as opposed to tourists.
If you ever go to Cannes and want to go to Baôli I would recommend it but the door staff are the rudest people ever. It is one of the those clubs where they think they are too exclusive to be polite. I would suggest to book a table for dinner then stay for the club, otherwise from midnight there is 100 people gathered outside. You have no chance of getting in unless you slip the doormen 50 euros or you park your Ferrari outside for the valet parking!
