Pink Pigeons and Roots

I have been on the look out for the perfect Stella McCartney Falabella bag for over a year now, remember when I nearly bought the Christmas green one? I am so glad I bought the yellow one in the smaller size, as much as I love it that fabric really is not durable and the bag is stained after one wear. Therefore I would not advise to buy one of the lighter, brighter colours as they do stain. They are all amazing if you are not planning on using it much then that’s fine. I then decided I would only buy a dark colour (I really did not want to buy this bag in black, I wanted something fun) or the shiny fabric one like the green one. The more I think about the green one the more I love it actually!!

As soon as I saw this pinky rose gold colour I knew it was the one! The fabric is a rough more durable material unlike the suede effect fabric. The next day I was shopping in H&M for an overseas client who has no access to the store, I took a few minutes to look for myself and found a lovely jacket that resembles Isabel Marant and was covered in pearls…my kind of jacket! As I was trying it on Paris found the flamingo jacket!! I was so pleased because I love flamingos I have them all around my house. I asked him to ask one of the sales assistant if there was anything else to match the flamingo collection. Paris got confused (do not forget he’s French and sometimes mixes up the odd English word) and asked the lady for anything with PINK PIGEONS haha how cute, no wonder why she said “no sorry.” Anyway I told Paris they were called in fact flamingos not pigeons and we found the jumper to match. They only had one left in a size 14 but you know me of course I bought it. I don’t care what size it is, if I want it i will buy anything.

The jacket was the perfect match for the new Stella bag as the pinks match really nicely. As you can see I have those evil, lying shoes on again! The Mackenzie shoes by Alexander Wang were meant to be my comfy shoes and they are so uncomfortable! They are not the worse ever but seeing as I bought them for comfort and they felt comfortable in the shop it was a disappointment to discover I now need to buy another pair of black boots.

My god look at my roots!!!! I never let my hair get rooty, but when your are running a business that is open 24/7 and work part time at Harrods and write a blog and attend press events and trying to buy a flat it’s hard to manage a hair appointment. Hopefully I will have nice hair soon.

Do you think I made a good decision on the bag? And do you think the Wang boots are worth the pain?
