Last week I attended the PURE LONDON exhibition held at Kensington Olympia, you can read all the articles I wrote for Pure London here. I share why I love attending this show and also wrote a London shopping guide.
I was really excited to attend this year, it’s a fun day out to see up and coming trends and preview collections that are not out yet. The best part for me is to discover brands. I discovered some amazing brands and picked a few of my favourites to share with you.
The first brand I came across was Endless Rose, an LA based brand. This brand has that LA, all American girl feel which I loved. I can only describe this brand as the American ASOS, so amazing right? Apparently this brand will be selling on ASOS so it’s going to be a great hit. The prices were incredible, I am really excited to wear this brand in the summer.
I really didn’t expect to come across a jewellery brand I loved because I am not a huge jewellery wearer but I had to share this British based brand called Brave Lotus. I really loved the feather design and I loved that this brand was really bohemian without being too hippy; it has a urban feel to it. I love mixing Boho with city chic so of course I loved this brand. Tomorrow I will be sharing my first LFW look and I will be wearing one of the Brave Lotus pieces, you can see how I styled this boho brand but for city life. The price point is really good, it’s really affordable. You can shop here or check out their instgram here.
I was really intrigued by the name of the brand and asked the founder where it came from. the founder Gemma knew she wanted to include the name “lotus” but the “brave” suddenly came to her when she realised she had to risk it all to follow her dreams, basically she had to be brave! We can all relate to this, we all have to be brave some point in life so I think it’s a great name and a greta brand. I wish them all the success.
I was determined to find a new leather brand and I succeeded. I love wearing leather, it’s really difficult to hunt down leather trousers and I am always looking of the perfect leather jacket. CODE 30/Steven K is a Germany based brand that specialises in leather. Their huge shearling coat caught my eye followed by the most perfect (mens) leather jacket I have ever seen; I am hoping I get my hands on this in a smaller size. I was totally head over heels for this brand when I saw their leather pants and wait for it… they have croc moc pants and jackets. Officially love this brand and I will make it my mission to own a pair of croc moc pants! All the leather is lamb skin, high quality and the design was simple and perfect. Discovering this brand made my day and is a great example to attend Pure London.
My next discovery was totally unexpected and totally random. I saw this steamer by The Steamery (Swedish based) and literally felt so excited. I am always saying I want a steamer because they are so much better than using as iron. Some of my expensive clothes can only be steamed and they are so much better than using an iron. Let’s also just imagine how cool this would look in my new dressing room. I can tell you it’s standing right behind me as I type and it’s looking fab. I was so impressed with it I had to get one. I chose the middle size which was white but now I seriously want the travel one, because this also great for interiors like steaming your curtains. You can buy them here. I will be including this in my dressing room video soon so you can see how it works.
The last brand I want to talk about it Lavish Alice. We are all familiar with this brand, I have featured them before here. I wanted to show you that you can visit the show to preview collections that have not been released yet. This is great to see what trends are up and coming. Lavish Alice have put a new spin on their famous cape jacket and they are using lots of rose gold hardware. I loved the navy cape jacket and the new style of the knitted co ord. I have linked a few of my favourite Lavish Alice bits in the credits, these are all in stock and you need them in your wardrobe.
If you missed out on attending, don’t worry there is always next time.
