Finally I get to share with you my fab day out with Links Of London to celebrate the launch of their Diamond Essentials collection. I was really excited when I was invited to attend the Audi polo match in Chester, as I used to attend the annual Essex polo match but since I moved to London I stopped going. I am a great lover of horses but as you can see one horse in particular really did not like me posing next to him! There was one horse called Cinderella, this was definitely a Cinderella diamond filled day for me.
The day started with a train journey that felt like half an hour because we were chatting so much and had a lovely breakfast in the comfort of first class, I felt truly spoilt already. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised how polite people are when you travel up North, I love the South but we are not as friendly as the North! The weather was perfect, so sunny and no rain.
I travelled with Trace Publicity, we met the Links of London team and was also joined by Sallie from the Chester Chronicle at the Chester Race club, we sipped champagne before we headed inside for our lunch. I had a little Links of London box by my name, I always get so excited to open presents specially when I know there is some Links of London inside! I was totally beaming when I opened my gift to find a diamond bracelet (also here!!) I was only saying a couple of days previous how I am loving dainty jewellery that I can wear everyday and layer together. The diamonds are so sparkly, I felt so special wearing it and I have not taken it off since. I have no idea if this should be worn in the water but I have worn this in the shower, swimming and in the gym and it still looks shiny and sparkly. I have been looking for some nice everyday, elegant earrings and decided the matching pair to my bracelet will be on my wish list. The set is really nice together and the price point makes this collection the perfect gift for someone. I am quite excessive but for me I think the bracelet will look soooo amazing layered together with the yellow gold, rose gold and silver together.
I got really into the match, but it’s quite shocking when anyone falls off the horse. I loved stamping on the dirt, was a Pretty Woman moment for everyone I am sure. Myself and the Links of London girls all had a chance to hide the silver cork screw, who ever found it won a Links of London present.
We finished off the day on the rooftop of the Chester Race Club rooftop bar looking over the course. It was such a perfect ending to a perfect day, thank you Links Of London for such a fabulous girly day .
