Day 1 of one of the best trips ever. My America trip started off in Dallas for the Reward Style conference. I have always wanted to visit Dallas and what better way then to attend the rS conference. Attending this conference was a huge goal for me. If you are not familiar with Rewards Style let me fill you in. The company which I will always refer to at “rS” act like the middle man between bloggers and brands. The company is responsible for taking blogging to the next level, they pioneer the industry and to say they are forward thinking is an understatement. The founders are a couple, Amber and Baxter; it’s so cute that this company is a family company. It’s actually all too much that this family is so perfect and now they have baby Birdie. Amber is such an inspiration and her talk at the conference was totally inspiring, she makes me feel like we can all achieve anything. Que Beyonce “Who Run The World” song.
The fact that I was invited to this conference was a huge privilege as it gave me a confidence boost and made me feel like my hard work is paying off. Last year I didn’t get invited which was fine because I knew I wasn’t at the level that is accepted to qualify. I made is my goal to attend this year, I worked so hard and worked side by side with the London team who are simply the BEST (Anna, Olivia, Marta and Shosh.) The moral of this article is to set goals and work hard until you reach them. If you don’t reach them then try and try again.
I can not wait to show you the video from this Dallas trip but I will prob need two weeks to make it! In the mean time the blog articles will have to do. I learnt so much from this conference and I will try and share as much as I can. If you want to know anything in particular please leave a comment below. I thought I would just attend this conference once and that would be enough but already I can not wait for next year. The conference just gets better and better and we can grow alongside the company who by the way are taking over the world.
On the first day we had a talk with Amber; our fearless leader and then listened to some top publishers who shared their experiences. We then networked with brands and I managed to meet so many PRs and new blogger gals. We had a fabulous lunch with Rodial. I have now fallen in love with the products they gave us; here and here.
On arrival (after we had survived our adventurous convertible drive from the airport) I found a box from DTLA Custom, inside was a leather jacket form Linea Pelle. I first discovered DTLA when a friend of mine Laura was wearing a jacket with her name on the back. I had been searching for the perfect leather jacket to customise and also someone to write my name. I didn’t want a really expensive jacket to be painted but then again didn’t want an ill fitting cheap one either. I immediately contacted DTLA who are based in Los Angelas and then they informed me that the jacket was by Linea Pelle. The jacket is such a fabulous fit, I am wearing size small. The leather is super soft and I love the long zips on the arms. Their new collections is just about to drop so keep an eye on the website.

This is what I wore on the plane journey to Dallas. It was totally hell flying in economy. I have flown economy all my life and no doubt will be flying economy the rest of my life; I am only moaning because my last flight was first class for my honeymoon. It was enactable the flight would be difficult. Anyway enough of being a princess and lets discuss my look. I wore stretchy dungarees here, with an over sized denim jacket (wore this constantly through out the trip) and my over sized ballon sweater (also wore this all the time.) I wore sneakers and my trusted holiday bag the CHANEL Deauville. You can buy my suitcases here, the best luggage I have ever had.
