A while ago I asked my readers what do you want to see more of on my blog, a few of you requested that I wear more patterned pieces and floral prints. The answer to this is I am not a floral or pattern kinda girl, however I would never say never.
I came across this floral Roseanna jacket in Donna Ida and thought it was the perfect floral print because it is very subtle and I like the mix of textures, the leather elbow pads also make it less girly. What do you think of it
My adventurous mood did not stop there! I have found myself wearing the same old thing lately, yes it is my style but that doesnt mean some days I want to try something new and wear something I would not usually pick up. I chose these jeans by IDA because the dark wash is flattering and I wanted to wear a pair of jeans that weren’t skinny. Skinny jeans are so easy to wear we can wear them with flats or heels and the length is irrelevant. Where as boot cut or slim leg limit you to heels or flats according to the length. I wanted a long pair of jeans that I could wear with heels and these are perfect.
Jeans which are dark and slim legged like these are so flattering for me because the jean goes over my shoes and elongates my legs. I also think this style is chic and perfect for occasions when I want to look formal, dressy or just as skinny as possible.
So why don’t you try something new? If you wear skinny jeans go for something different, if you wear floral patterns try something more edgy.
