I have had so many questions asking me about the sizing. I am going to list below everything that I bought and tell you what I think of the sizing.
PEARL BLAZER – Size 10. Tried all the sizes and this size was defiantly the most suited for me. The 8 was way too tight around they back, they all came really tight around the back; it was a bit strange. The 12 was way too baggy around the front, the length was good but it was so baggy I would’t be unable to wear it as a dress. They did run small, specially around the back but the front was very baggy.
LONG BLACK BLAZER – Size 12 + 8. I have two of these blazers because my friend Flavia was kind enough to get me one at the preview. The 8 was suprinsly okay but very tight around the back so I need a seam taken out. With that said if I had a 10 I think the front would have been too baggy just like the pearl blazer. Yes a 10 would probably be best but I am happy with the 8 as a dress and the 12 as a jacket. I grabbed the 12 because it was the least of my worries when shopping that day. I knew the pearl jacket sizing had to be perfect and so did the leather trouser so everything else I could tailor. The size 12 is okay on me a bit big when its open and not at all fitted enough to wear as a dress. However I could easily get the seams taken in and this would make it perfect, probably better than a 10 because it would be longer. In this post I am wearing the 12 not the 8.
TEE. WHITE LARGE. BLACK MEDIUM. I didn’t care at all about the sizes of the tees, I like my tess baggy so as long as I didn’t have small or extra small I was happy.
SLEEVLESS JACKET- SIZE 10. This is so over sized and worn open that an 8 or 10 would be fine for me. A 12 would have been too baggy and looked stupid but again you can tailor this.
SUEDE GREEN TROUSERS – 38. These ran so small! The 38 are perfect for me, slightly baggy because they stretch when I wear them but for everyday wear they are so comfortable and I LOVE THEM! I would have preferred a 36 in the these but I didn’t have time to search.
BLACK LEATHER TROUSERS – 38. These are slightly smaller than the suede but I am pleased because leather really stretches. They are super tight around the waist but I wanted them like this because they get baggy.
I also tried the white blazer, the velvet black blazer and the leather jacket. These all ran small, the size 10 was like an 8 so buy a size up.
For those of you that keep asking if I can find met boots (they sold out world wide) you can click here because I found them! I am a size 38.5 and I bought a 38 because they need to be tight where there is no proper fastening and the zip stays open.
