HOW TO STYLE DOUBLE DENIM | CAMEL COAT EDITION

by Claire Chanelle

It makes me so happy to share winter content with you, my favourite time of year and my favourite type of outfits. This is my second coat edit, if you didn’t see my first one; click here.

I adore December because I love Christmas but I think Autumn just about wins because I can still war light coat like this Stella McCartney Bryce coat and a little shirt underneath. I can also still get away with wearing a leather jacket and you know how much I love leather jackets. Would you like me to film a leather jacket haul? I was thinking of doing that.

I also love wearing off the shoulder knits, Autumn weather is perfect for those too.

I will never EVER get tired of wearing double denim. I actually like reminiscing that Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake look, we won’t ever forget that and you don’t know what I am talking about maybe this blog is too old for you haha just kidding. Who remember double denim Be Witched outfits??!! Anyway back to the outfit…

I really love double denim but I have a few tips to pull it off. I usually wear heels to ensure it’s not too banish and I love to layer over the top with a chunky knit or duster coat like this Bryce one from FARFETCH. I adore dusty pink and camel with double denim. Black and navy also looks really nice.. and white! See it is just so easy to wear. I have a look coming up soon where I wear two shades of double denim with dusty pink. I cannot wait to show you. I also love wear grey double denim together. Basically the inspo I am trying to share with you, is to try playing with double denim and find a killer coat to throw over your shoulders. Go with any colours you like because denim goes with everything. My personal faves are camel and dust pink. The camel adds so much chicness and breaks up the blues and the dusty pink adds a feminine touch.

I am the biggest fan of Stella McCartney ready wear, her coats in particular. You will notice I have so many Stella coats, duster coats and even blazers and bomber jackets. The fit is on another level and the quality lasts a life time. When it comes to coats and jackets its the one pieces of ready to wear you really can get your moneys worth. You can wear a coat every winter for years. If you are considering investing into a camel coat I recommend this one for sure. I am wearing size 42 and you can click here to shop.

My denim shirt can be bought here and my me jeans can be bought here. Buy your true to size. You may have noticed I am wearing a nude ribbed top under the shirt. I am wearing this for warmth but also because I was going out in the evening. I took off the shirt and kept the top on. The top is off the shoulder and perfect for going out. Click here to shop the top, it runs big; I am wearing size small.

I couldn’t help link a few of my current faves from the same website too.

My Manolo Blahnik BBs get be bought here. Buy your true to size. These BBs are my fave designers heels. They are so elegant, good value for money, go with everything, the perfect height and most of all EXTREMELY comfortable. They cone is every colour too.

My bag is one of my all time favourite CHANEL’s. I bought mine a couple of years ago but CHANEL did bring it back last season, which has now been and gone. You can click here to find one pre loved.
