Last weekend I attended the wedding of a close friend, seeing as I get asked so much to recommend “what to wear to a wedding” I thought I would share this beautiful dress by For Love and Lemons. The wedding was in Essex therefore I took advantage of stopping by this stunning lilac field. I have no idea what it is because these fields are usually corn fields. There was a sea of lilac for miles and miles it was so beautiful. Days like this make me want to move back to the country. Should I do it?!

This dress was so perfect for me because I hate wearing bras in the summer and love backless dresses but unfortunately my double d’s do not allow for such luxuries. However because this dress was tight and the lace is quite thick the fabric was supportive enough to hold everything in. This is the first time I have been ablet to go braless and backless…yay for me.

This dress was the last one and it was a size small. I took the risk and ordered it even though I would usually order a safer size medium. If I had ordered the medium the lace would not have been tight enough and it would not of looked as good. I am a size UK8/10, I am 5.6″and the size small fits me like a glove. I have read lots of reviews saying the under slip is way too short and it’s a really bad fit. In my opinion the slip is short and you do have to keep pulling it down but I think it looks fine and I didn’t have a problem with it. The slip is detachable so it will come in handy for me again as the back is low.

I have worn this dress twice, once with my grey Manolo Blahnik Hangisi shoes and a grey Chanel bag and once with beige Saint Laurent Tributes and a Saint Laurent white WOC. It was really easy to accessories.

My dress is from Spotted on Celeb.
