How I Find Balance In My Busy Schedule

by Claire Chanelle

I am really excited to finally share with you some of the questions I get sent all the time regarding running a successful business and how I keep myself so motivated. I am also happy to tell you all about the beautiful spa retreat I visited last week. I uploaded an image of my bathroom whilst having breakfast in bed and so many of you asked where I was staying. I will tell you all you need to know.

Last week I left London to spend twenty-four hours in the English country side with PANDORA. This trip could not have come at a better time for me. As you know I have been traveling a lot recently, some of my travels have been long haul and I have so much going on. When I find myself so busy I try my best to take some time out and re balance my mind and body and diary! I was so incredibly lucky to not only relax in the countryside but to also combine this with a press trip.

During the trip, in between spa treatments and sampling the raw food restaurants at the Limewood retreat I filmed with PANDORA to share my favourite healthy ritual. Once a week I take time out to relax and pamper myself at home. My first choice is always a hair mask and my fave hair mask is a DIY one with home ingredients. I use avocado, coconut oil and olive oil. I filmed a quick tutorial which will be showcased in some PANDORA stores. Keep an eye out for them!

The trip was all centred around the new PANDORA ESSENCE collection. I chose three of my favourite charms that represented the focal points to my strengths and the elements I focus on to live a healthy lifestyle which I am sure you can imagine is not easy for many of us. Do you ever think to yourself “I need time off and haven’t had me time in a long time?” The charms are a great reminder to help me realise how important it is to stay relaxed and healthy.

I chose the positivity charm because I am a great believer in the power of positivity. Thinking positive thoughts will always bring you positivity, if you send out positive thoughts it will bring good things. If you send out negativity I truly believe you will attract negativity. Try thinking nothing but positive thoughts and let me know how you get on. Erase negative thoughts from your thought process and I guarantee you will see a difference. The power of positivity is one of the best pieces of advice I can give anyone to be happy and successful.

The second charm I chose was the appreciation charm. This one really does have so much meaning to me, it is a very personal one. If you have been following me for a while you will know that I grew up in very humble surroundings and I was raised knowing that life is what YOU make it and no one will hand you anything. From the age of fourteen I knew where I was heading. I completely transformed my own life and appreciate everything I have and everything I have achieved. I also appreciate anyone who has helped me along the way. Appreciation is the key to so much when it comes to growth and success. The day I forget where I came from, what I have and who helped me will be the day I stop progressing. Knowing the value of appreciation is incredibly important.

The final charm I chose was patience. I chose this charm because patience is one of my weaknesses, I am not a patient person and this is something I need to work on. I have realised over the years that success takes time and it has taken me years to understand myself, my brand and my end goal.

I believe these are the key essence that help me to live a healthy lifestyle and keep me focused on important values. I personally love to wear meaningful jewellery. I cannot think of one piece of jewellery I own that doesn’t have a meaning behind it. Whether it was a gift from a special person or represents a pivotal moment in my life; all my pieces mean something to me and this ESSENCE bangle is no different.

I love how minimal these bangles are, I love the mixture of 14ct gold and sterling silver and I love how simple the charms are. Did you notice that the patience charm was white marble? Dreamy.

By the end of this trip I felt totally recharged and inspired. I will continue to wear my bangles to remind me of the values I use to stay healthy and focused. We travelled back to London in a convoy of Range Rovers which was so fun and exciting. I totally felt inspired by this luxe way of traveling. Who knows, if I continue to live and work by the values I shared with you in this article maybe one day I can always travel like this.

Leave me a comment below and tell me which of the charms you feel suit your lifestyle. If you haven’t thought about this before I recommend taking a look at the list of charms here. Also, do not forget to try out my suggestions to leading a healthy, successful life. Definitely try out the hair mask too.

Claire, what a stunning post, and it came at such a perfect time for me… as I get home at 11:45p from a week of travelling for work…for the tenth week in a row. Reading this made me weepy, but in a good way. You look gorgeous. The property is gorgeous. Would you share the location? Thank you for my bit of happiness today.

Looks like a lovely and relaxing retreat! I also like to take time out for myself at home with face masks and hair masks, but every now and then treat myself to a spa break. I’m all about the positivity so that would be my ideal charm 🙂
