We are finally back from our travels which means I can finally get into the festive spirit. We are so behind due to our amazing trip to China last week and we have returned home to total house chaos. Only I would decide to start fully refurbishing four weeks before Christmas! To make up for it, I have started my Christmas shopping. I have always started in late October, beginning of November, as shopping for gifts and all things festive are my favourite part. When do you start and what is your favourite part of the festive season?

The first factor I tackled was my Christmas Eve outfit. This has become a tradition for me as this is the special Christmas we have with Paris’ French side of the family. We have drinks together at his parents, open gifts and then dine at a fancy Chelsea restaurant. Each Christmas I invest in a special coat, something festive, a little bit special and something perfect for a winter Christmas night. I always style my outfit around the coat; you know how much I love coats and jackets 🙂

I wanted to stay warm and comfortable, but I wanted to ensure I made the effort. I found the perfect combination! You may remember my Saks Pott trench from last year, the lilac one? I loved it but I know I wanted a more neutral colour. Since last February I have been on the hunt for the brown leather with shearling. Black is sensational and I am very tempted, but I went with brown because I was missing brown from my wardrobe. I was over the moon when I finally found the brown leather with shearling on Farfetch, they still have a couple in stock so hurry; click here. I could wear a size 1, 2 or 3. The 1 is fitted size UK8 for me, the 2 is a classic generous UK10 and the 3 is probably a size UK12-14. Check out the black here, the colour I love and the shorter version here.

Next up are shoes! I have wanted a pair of Paris Texas boots for ages. I was worried they would be uncomfortable, but I can confirm they are one of the comfiest pair of boots I own. So comfortable that I ordered another colour here. Let me know what you think of this colour, yes or no??

As many of you may know, I love wearing the same colours but mixing the textures and tones. How great do the croc moc brown knee highs look? They look so great with jeans too. I love how the width is fairly wide, so jeans fit in nicely and the gap is very slimming. I cannot recommend these boots enough. Great for all year round, great for the festive season looks, knitted dress and chunky knits.

Last up are my Alessandra Rich earrings. I NEEDED something glitzy, it is the festive season and my outfit is pretty classic. I am a huge fan of Alessandra Rich earrings; this is my fourth pair. These ones in particular are fairly light, I can absolutely wear these all day and they do not feel heavy or feel like they will drop off. You can shop them here. I have my eye on the choker here which is also reasonably priced compared to other competitive brands. The heart earrings or signature Alessandra Rich and they are on sale, make sure you check these out. Again, the perfect gift to yourself or for someone you love.

Now let’s get into the gifts! I am nearly finished with my shopping; I usually go on the last spurge a week before Christmas and everyone gets double 😉 Do you do that?

I was surprised by how much I found; including some affordable pieces. My first stop was pyjamas. I buy myself some for Christmas Eve, my mum buys me some for Christmas night and I buy my mum and sister Christmas night ones. I discovered the La Perla 100% silk pajamas. The colours are perfect; grey, baby blue and gold. The price is so reasonable, I paid a similar price for a high street brands last year.

I discovered a brand called Morgan Lane, have you heard of this brand? They reminded me of the Beverly Hills hotel, perfect for Christmas Day!

I treated my sister Stevie to the Gucci Marmont small bag. I bought her the card holder for her Birthday and I know how much she wants the bag. I was holding out for the nude colour, so happy I found it in time on Farfetch.

I picked up a few Prada pieces, Prada is such a fabulous brand for gifts. They arrive beautifully packaged and the prices are reasonable. I chose these leather gloves for my mum and this card holder to match the bag I bought her. I bought Stevie a red headband, she will love wearing this on Christmas Day.

Last up are the boys! Check out the men’s section here. I am on the hunt for a coat for Paris; I liked this one and this one.

I hope this post gave you some inspiration for Christmas gift ideas, click here to check out more amazing finds on Farfetch. I have also filmed a YouTube video where you can hear me talk more about this. Click here to watch that.
