The second show I attended in Paris was the Agnès b show. I was super late as our taxi driver was so rude and simply dropped us off no where near where we asked because….erm I am not quite sure, he was bored and decided he did not want to take us there? So me and my amazing assistant Nadia were running in our heels, Pigalles are the worst to walk in let alone run in! I was asking every person I thought looked ‘local’ where the address was.
We arrived just in time, and of course I managed to fit in a few poses for other photographers. We were greeted with champagne, which is always a nice touch, well done Agnès b!
My look for the day had to be comfortable as I was only in Paris for the day. I had a very early start and lots of traveling and running around so I had to be comfortable. This fashion week I really did feel like JETSET CHOUQUETTE because I will be making two trips to Paris because of work commitments, so I really will feel like a jetting everywhere #stressful #jetsetchouquette 🙂
My invite never reached the Paris flat (as in the flat in Paris not my boyfriend) so I had to explain that at the door, I felt like I was trying to blag my way in. I would like to thank Emma Brunn (PR manger) at Agnès b for my invite and for dealing with my drama of no invite and replying to me even on a Sunday!
I was lucky enough to be seated in a fabulous front row seat and somehow ended up with the American press and made friends with a New Yorker.
OMG the photographers!! I have never experienced a show like this where the photographers scream and shout at the audience “MOVE YOUR LEGS! CROSS YOUR LEGS!” jeeze! Even when the poor models were strutting their stuff they were shouting to pose again. If I am honest I quite like it, it added some drama.
The show started and I immediately fell in love with the monochrome styles, which I totally did not expect from this brand. As you know I love monochrome, from my new Céline Mini Luggage bag to the trouser I was wearing.
As the show continued the collection transended to a more romantic feel, with lots of sheer fabrics and pretty pleats. I loved the ballet dancer and the song playing “the girl with no bra” very fitting to match the bra less girls!
The collection finished with some tomboy looks, loose fitting suits teamed with tennis shoes or pumps. The loose fitted suits reminded me of something Coco Chanel would wear.
My favourite look. I loved this dress, I really really want it!
After the show I got a sneak peak close up of the creator herself. I also had a quick chat with Jade Jagger.
I am wearing: Manoush jacket, Zara tee, H an M tailored trouser, Chanel bracelet, Paris Passion necklace, Chanel J12 watch, Chanel vintage earrings, Christian Louboutin Pigalle shoes with Cèline Trapeze bag. This was also the first day I used to Moschino i phone case.
