C H A N E L DAY

Last week I bought myself some new Chanel pumps to replace the ones I had stolen from me. I really wanted to buy the same ones again, but Chanel do not often release the same styles and colour waves every season. I am sure the ones I had will come back again but I did not want to wait another season. I wanted beige all in one colour block as I find that block colours are easier to wear and of course my new year’s resolution was to invest into classic, wearable items!

When I saw these pearly gold ones I loved them. I was pleased I had waited a couple of months for the right pair. Not only are these pumps all one colour but they have a rose hologram on them. They are so unusual and I love the pearly, champagne colour.

I didn’t stop there! I just happened to ask if they had any of the famous canvas espadrilles in stock. These espadrilles sell out so fast and I really wanted a pair before the leather ones came out. Every Chanel I visited had none left at all except one lilac and I really wanted the black. Just as I had accepted defeat I was told they had one pair left in my size in BLACK! Sooooooo I bought those as well. I can not wait for summer so I can wear them. I think I will have to book some winter sun so I can wear them before summer.

I tried on a Chanel dream jumpsuit too for the SS13 collection. It was so amazing!!! I was so tempted to buy it! But £3000 is a lot, when there is only so many times I can wear a tweed jumpsuit 🙁 It is amazing though, no?

One of my clients from Chelsea Styling bought this tweed Chanel bag. I think it is such a good buy. Gold is always good for the summer but tweed is a winter fabric and for £1650 you can not go wrong for a classic flap bag. The tweed still ensures the structure is there and the fabric would be hard to stain too.  I will definitely be thinking about buying a tweed Chanel. Are you a fan??
