This is a look I wore around London last week. I usually avoid pink because I am a true tom boy deep down and I also have a pinky tone to my skin. However I am totally in love with wearing pink with red and feel like this clash of two colours you “shouldn’t” mix together really works. This dress is from Zara but I found a similar one here.
My bag is a really special bag because this is the bag was my wedding gift from Paris. I wanted a bag that was really special, really unique and something that would stand out from the classic styles or classic colours. This is of course unavailable now but I found a really similar one here.
My shoes were such a great buy, I have lived in these shoes; they are to die for comfortable so totally worth the hype. I advise to buy half a size up so you avoid foot over hand… eeew. If you would like to wear this look with heels, then click here to see the most perfect red heels that I ordered last week.
My hair was blow dried at Duck & Dry, my local blow dry bar that I love so much. The interior is so pretty, a pretty on the turquoise sofa and pink and grey wall is an essential btw. Growing up in Essex I am hard to please when it comes to a good blow dry. I get my hair done in Kennedy’s by Alex Louise Garcia she is so talented. When I am in London I struggle to find that “Essex” blow dry that I like. After testing pretty much all the salon’s in Chelsea I can say that Duck & Dry is in the lead. They are all trained in house and achieve that volume look. You can always tell a good blow dry by the amount of days it lasts after, this lasted me until I next washed it.
I also love the products they use at this salon. All the products are made in house. The packaging is pretty and it’s all natural ingredients made in the UK. I took home the shampoo, conditioner and volume texture spray. I love the products so make sure you try some. Really want to try the leave in conditioner and mega volume spay next. Right now they offering a free blow dry when you buy three hair products so it’s worth it.
I also visited the salon again with my soul sister Fi. We had a lovely girls day siping Proseco, getting our hair did wearing matching bags. It really is the perfect day out and on a Saturday they play the music loud. Click here to book an appointment. Click here to view the salon hair products.
