Welcome to the “land of Essex” as Paris calls it. Last week my self and Nathan who you may know as The Provoker took a road trip to my home town (village) to get out of busy London before a chaotic fashion week starts. I still had this dress in my suit case which was in the boot of my car from my latest trip to France. After driving passed endless (cut) corn fields we thought it was too good not to skip around in the fields (see video) which then turned into a photo shoot. We both felt like we had been transported into a Chloe campaign and found our inner Alexa/Poppy.
My crochet dress was the perfect look for corn field frolicking, I love everything about this dress; the fit, the fabric, the sleeves, the backless v drop and the slits at both sides. This dress was great for my holiday I’m France, ideal for festivals and a classic I can pull out each summer. I thought this dress would make the perfect boho wedding dress or maybe a dress for the bride to wear the day before/after her wedding. This dress is by far the one of my all time favourites and I can’t wait to wear it again.
My boots are Isabel Marant, I love a clumpy boy boot with a girly dress but I did wear the dress differently in my other post if you prefer a more feminine look. The boyish aspect carried on with Boy bag, I loved the denim fabric against the corn fields and crochet fabric. This Boy bag is old season so I can not link one exactly the same however I did find the most amazing PINK ESPADRILLE bag that is to die for. I love all the rare Chanel bags and highly recommend this really unique one.
