Today’s article is not only about how to style a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels, it’s also about how to style up your spring wardrobe and choose glamorous heels that also offer comfort.
Lets start with the outfit.
I made a conscious effort to show you something that wasn’t my usual jeans and tee combo. I chose a top with a little sass, a skirt (I mean the skirt shows how crazy I went, surely?) Lastly I introduced some colour. I always say red is a great colour to invest in because red is still a classic colour, you can wear it all year round and red is one of the easiest colours to match.
As much as I am known for my love of luxury I still love the high street, I will always love high street pieces and enjoy mixing them with high end brands. I am a believer in searching the high street first before spending more money on a luxury pieces. This outfit showcases well the beauty of luxury accessories mixed with a high street look. I usually invest money into my jackets because I love good quality jackets and happy to pay more for a good fit. I was so surprised when I found this studded leather jacket on the high street here. The quality is amazing and I am so in love with it, it’s one of those peices I will keep forever and people will also ask me where I bought it. The jacket seems to be sold out in every store I checked, even though it’s a new style. They just came in stock online but I am pretty sure they will sell out fast. I bought a size 12 because it’s slightly cropped and I wanted an over sized look. The size 10 was fine on me, but by the time I decided to buy it, the 10 had sold.
My skirt was a random purchase. I wanted something different to my usual jeans, leather trousers or denim shorts in the summer. This skirt can be dressed down with a hoodie and sneakers but then dressed up with a shirt and heels. It can be worn day to night, a good holiday piece and it was under £30.
I am always on the look out for nice tops due to the fact I live in T-shirts. I loved the bell sleeve in this top and love most things crochet. This top would look fab with a coloured lace bralette or add a vest if you wish to cover up. It also comes in black too.
I paired this look with my Hermes Kelly because I absolutely can not get enough of this bag. This bag has lived up to the years of dreaming about it. Make sure you keep checking the site I found mine on, there are some amazing finds on there.
The Shoes – Go Glam With Comfort
It’s no secret I adore Manolo Blahnik shoes. I bought my first pair (black) in 2012, they were my work shoes and I wore them everyday. For those of you that do not know, I was a Fashion Specialist at luxury department store Harrods. My job was pretty glam and I looked better for work than I did on a night out! Initially I didn’t buy the shoes for comfort, at the time I didn’t have my foot problem. With that said it’s always great to have a pair of heels that do not kill your feet. I loved them so much I bought a second pair in 2014 in grey. The pair are my all time favourite shoes and the black pair are my go to heels. I cannot recommend them enough for comfort but of course they look sensational at the same time. These shoes are the best shoes to wear if you struggle to wear heels. I wear the higher heel height but they also come in the lower heel here and the flat style here. Now I have no choice but to wear heels that are extreamly comfortable, I have a damage in my nerves. I have tried and tested pretty much every single heel in my style and Manolos are my fave for comfort and I love mixing super girly pieces with my tomboy style.
I have my eyes on a flat pair for my next buy. For now I am really happy that I have one black pair to wear with everything, a grey pair to match light colour looks and my pop of colour with the red pair.
I had a few negative comments on Instagram accusing me of jumping on the Manolo trend, maybe by simply scrolling through my instagram feed here you can see that I have been buying into this brand for years #talktothehand
The shoes were gifted to me by Farfetch. I attended a dinner with them last week. It was a dream to meet the Manolo Blahnik team and we had the best night, it literally felt like going to dinner with friends. I wore my new red Hangisi heels with baby pink jeans and a pink tee. If you think these shoes are only for weddings or any formal event, please think again. Rule number one. Where what you like, when you like and how you like. There are no rules, unless you are going to Ascot which is why I have never been to Ascot. If you wish to wear fancy shoes with ripped jeans, go for it. If you wish to wear your Manolo or sassy shoes on the tube, go for it. This post is mainly about wearing want you want to wear, clashing colours and not sticking to any rules. Sometimes I will wear a tracksuit to the local shop and the other days I will wear an outfit like this because I felt like it. I hope this inspires you to wear what you want, when you want.
I have listed a few of my fave Manolo Blahnik shoes below. The Hangisi style runs generous, I buy half a size down but the other styles stick true to your size. Leave me a comment below if you would like me to film a video on my entire shoes collection and/or talk about heels for comfort.

Love those shoes! I am yet to buy my first pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes, but I think I will be soon as they look great and are a classic and timeless piece 🙂
