Obviously I love and want to be Cara so I thought i’d try out pretending to be her for an hour. As soon as I saw the Shopping Centre look book with Cara in the gym and running head to toe in pink tweed, I had to re create the look for fun. I had the sneakers, the padlock bracelets, a similar pink Chanel bag and although I do not have the pink tweed jacket (FML) I mixed it up with my cream jacket and denim shorts. Not quite the actual look but I worked with what I had.

I would wear this kind of look minus the pink ribbon in my hair and I love to mix vintage/new Chanel with denim and current trends. The last few seasons of Chanel, well pretty much since the Boy bag the brand has become more edgy and moved on from the classic feminine vibe. It’s not so much of mixing it up anymore because Chanel are already doing that now, they offer edgy and tomboy pieces which I love, it’s no longer just about a tweed two pieces worn in a classic way,  its now ok to wear pencil tweed with sneakers.

The padlock bracelet was approximately £800 and I can’t link it for you to buy and it’s sold out but I found the most amazing padlock silver and pink CHANEL bracelet HERE  for £279, such a bargain and wish I saw it before I spent £800! Who ever buys it is very lucky to snap it up!!

This is a great ode to Cara! I love your take on the trend. The classic jacket is a gorgeous piece & I adore your bracelets!
Have you ever bought from Fashionphile? I’m always wary of the duty & taxes which seem to bump the price up no end.
