Cannes is a must for shopping. The shops along the coast are all the high end stores. Going by experience they always have the best stock, the best colours and one of the best places in the world to buy luxury items. I feel it’s more enjoyable compared to Paris and the stock is just as good. For Brits the exchange rate usually means we get a good deal. However I was in France when the Brixit happened which was totally devastating for our country. A serious decision like that shouldn’t be decided purely by the public but there you go. Anyway the Brixit effected the exchange rate, it is therefore not great for Brits to shop in France. The experience is still lovely to shop along the coast and eating ice-cream. I actually stole this one from Paris because ice cream makes me ill. You can all enjoy it though!
There are some lovely beach bars lined up one after the other, we usually visit one of these for a cocktail or lunch then wonder around the shops before heading home.
I bought this dress (which is now in the sale) because I thought it was cute. I didn’t realise until I got to France that it is actually quite French looking and I wore my red Gucci shoes so I actually looked like the French flag. I shot this look on July 5th so I was actually celebrating Independence day.
DRESS – Now in the sale
