CHANEL BAG – EXACT BAG!
Sorry I haven’t blogged all week but I am back. What better return than a CHANEL reveal.
I am not going to go into too much detail but I have an on going issue that needs to be cleared up. The best way to say this is openly on my website, viewed to 30k readers and for anyone else to see.
My full time job is here with CHOUQUETTE. It keeps me very busy, it’s my number one passion and yes I like CHANEL and I am established by you guys that I have a nice collection. Yes I worked with Chelsea Styling and yes I loved it. I free lanced for various new businesses and various shopping concierge’s but because I helped set this company up I am most related to Chelsea Styling because. I stopped working here because my blog grew stronger and I realised similar businesses were launching reselling and this ruined the vision of styling that I was trying to create with the owner. I will continue to free lance for other business but I do not act as a stylist for any personal shopping company. I was never a reseller and I am firmly against re selling. You do not need talent to walk into a shop, buy ten pairs of shoes and make money by selling it twice the price. I never did this and took pride in my five years personal shopping experience at Harrods and continued to style my elite clients until I was able to go full time with CHOUQUETTE. I loved working with Chelsea Styling and I was proud to style clients, re arrange wardrobes and fly around the world with them. Yes we bought our clients Chanel products but that’s not all the companies offers. I am proud to have been apart of a fantastic team and wouldn’t change it. I have been full time with my blog for just over a year and this is my job.
It is out of my control if reader tags my on social media every time they buy a CHANEL product. There is noting wrong with my followers doing this and go head and do it, I love to see what you have bought and chat about CHANEL. This doesn’t mean I bought the product for them!
It is also out of my control when personal shoppers, resellers who ever they are tag me and regram my CHANEL images. I do not mind this happening because it creates awareness for my blog. This doesn’t mean I working for or with this companies.
Yes I do buy CHANEL products for my close friends if they are looking for something and I will continue to help my friends shop because I enjoy it and live one minute walk from two CHANEL stores. These occasions I clearly to not charge my friends!
Lastly I will like to apologies to all of the people that email me everyday for the last two years asking for me to source them products. I ignore all these emails because I have disclaimed plenty of times on my blog and instagram that I am not a reseller, everything on my blog is my own. I hope this has cleared up a few issues and I will no longer be asked to source products. I also hope this means I can shop freely from now on FOR MY SELF and enjoy shopping again.
Sorry for a strange post but I needed to get this of my chest. I hope you like the new purchase 🙂
THE REVEAL:
Here are MY new CHANEL espadrilles. I usually wear size 38.5 but I buy size 39 in the espadrilles because they run small. They retail at £385, the good news is the price hasn’t increased since last season.
I am selling my lilac suede espadrilles size 39, with original box and dust bags for £295; free UK shipping. They have been worn but not a lot and still in great condition. Please email Claire@Chouquette.co.uk. Once these have been cleaned they will look ten times better, I totally should have cleaned them before taking the photos but never mind. Maybe I need to highlight that I am selling my own shoes that are worn and I am not making money on this. Yes guys I know it’s hideous but I am being forced to disclaim this.
FOR SALE: £295

Congrats hun. Can’t go wrong with a pair of gorgeous comfortable shoes.
Love the espadrilles! I managed to score a pair in navy blue in my size from Chanel last summer. I loved the honesty in this post and agree about resellers, it’s horrible how much the mark up is. Until I went to the boutique last year I thought espadrilles were $1,000 because of how crazy the mark up was online during the espadrille hype!

Thanks Irena. x
I love these espadrilles! Do you think there will be any in store in June? I’m struggling to find any in Australia but will be in London in June and was hoping you could advise if I stand a chance at getting a pair and which store would be my best bet or should give up? I don’t want to purchase from a reseller.. 🙁 XXX
Usually they are not in stock in the summer, you have to buy them before the summer starts, around Feb/March. It is worth trying though because sometimes they have the odd random delivery. You need to check everyday. xx
