This is what I wore on the forth day of LFW; colour blocking in powder blue and double denim is always a winner in my eyes. I really wanted to wear this IRIS & INK shirt from the OUTNET, it’s so easy to wear and I love the quality and timelessness of the IRIS & INK collection. Check out the entire collection here.
Sophia Webster was my number one presentation I was looking forward to this season. Fashion week for me is about seeing the up and coming trends, being inspired, appreciating the talents of the designers but now and again it becomes dangerous because when you are seeing the new collection revealed for a brand you wear, adore and spend your money on it then becomes a risky business. I was scared to full in love with a pair of shoes and preying there were no more flamingos or unicorns because I can not resist these. I was genuinely looking forward to seeing what I could buy next season and I was excited to share this with you because I always receive positive feedback and emails asking about my Sophia shoes. Not only is this brand one of my personal favourites for my own sense of style I love how creative Sophia is, her collection is like walking into a fantasy world bursting with colour and happiness. Sophia Webster is unlike any other designer and she blows my mind each season, her brand is getting stronger and stronger which also makes me feel proud a young British designer is #takingovertheshoeworld. Can we also take a second to appreciate how good she looks after having baby Bibi!
The location was in central London in a warehouse type building which added a little excitement as you walked in. The stairs led me to a huge room with high ceilings and bright lights. At first I thought the models were spaceships but then I realised they were more circus then NASA. The set was designed by Shona Heath, inspired by warped optic prints, the monochrome of early ska music style, showgirls and ringmasters. I was excited to see a flat shoe style in the form of biker boots and high top sneakers as well as seeing more bags introduced. This was confirmtation the brand is growing so strong and the collection is becoming bigger than before, introducing more styles and bags. I was pleased to see the signature over the Knee lace ups, the Cola collaboration was interesting but for me the show stoppers were the baby styles which I am sure were inspired by baby BB. I NOW NEED A BABY (MUST BE A GIRL) so I can buy her baby Sophia webster shoes. No flamingos insight but I will take the sequin biker boots instead.
Which pair would you pick?
