If you read my last post you would have seen that I visited the luxury vintage store LXR&Co in Beverly Hills. I arranged my meeting before I headed to LA and could not wait to visit the store as I already had such a warm welcome from the team from the PR side of the company, thank you Lisa 🙂 It was great to Jetset Chouquette the blog to LA and meet the LXR team.

Across the UK we have some amazing vintage stores and a few trusty luxury ones however I always find the stores that have the good stock are extremely over priced as the stock is the same price or sometimes more expensive than the current stock in any Chanel boutique. My absolute favourite vintage store for Chanel is Cathrine Bs in Paris, no one has stock like she does. I visit her store every time I go to Paris and she still has the same stock as the last time I was there, the products are way over priced. I suggest her store for some window shopping or if you have no budget.
I love vintage Chanel and Hermes because sometimes it is nice to have a bag with some history or maybe there is a style you love that is no longer produced anymore. It was important for me to find a luxury vintage store that had a happy medium; good stock that was is in good condition but well priced. I also get a lot of requests from clients at Chelsea Styling ltd for pre loved Hermès products and I was keen to find a trusted source. So far I have not found a boutique with all three aspects UNTIL I found LXR&Co!
I was greeted by the store’s manager Joseph who showed me around and told me everything I needed to know. I have worked in the luxury retail industry for five years, I own my own company handling luxury fashion products every day and had a great passion for luxury accessories for the past 15 years, therefore I think it is fair to say I am fairly knowledgeable when it comes to luxury fashion. I can instantly tell if I am speaking to someone who knows what they are talking about. I can assure you that Joseph has some great experience and passion behind him and anyone who shops there will be in trusted hands. The most important factor about LXR is that the authenticity of each product is professional certified. I have been shopping at one Vintage store in London for years and I lost all trust in them when I saw a fake (a good fake but still not authentic) jumbo Chanel for sale at £2000 and the owner really thought it was real. You have no worries of this happening at LXR.
To my surprise I could not believe the condition of the products, never have I seen vintage handbags in such good condition. Lastly the price is on point; not too low and not too high. I fell in love with the mini Chanel bag/necklace and have not stopped thinking about it.
