Holy Velvet – Luisa Via Roma LOOK 4

Yes, another BALMAIN look. If you wear BALMAIN or you have tried anything on you will understand that this brand is addictive. It is addictive because the pieces are extremely flattering and simply feel wonderful to wear. BALMAIN makes me feel luxe because it is the optimum on luxury. This dress is very structured and the fabric is thick; the neckline and the silhouette is all in the right place which is why it looks and feel so good. This for me is the perfect going outfit, the perfect birthday dress or for any special event.

BALMAIN is responsible for the tuxedo dress, therefore no one does it better than them. They bring this tuxedo dress out every single season, which means it will never get old or feel dated. The last photo was taken over a year ago. I wanted this dress for my 30th birthday. This was right after our wedding, so I couldn’t afford it. It was my biggest regret last year but thankfully they brought it back. You can see it is almost identical, only the neckline has changed.

I paired this dress with over the knee boots and one of my all time favourite bags (which I wore here) the Givenchy Antigona.

To really go out with this look I added a Anndra Neen choker. I said to the team at Luisa Via Roma that I wanted to wear a choker with this look. The lovely Ivan, who is Luis Via Roma’s jewellery buyer; recommend this choker. It was totally stunning. Imagine this choker with a simple tee or plain shirt?
