Sometimes you just need to be basic. When I am running around London, I just need to keep warm and comfortable. On Sunday’s I usually wear basic looks but basic doesn’t have to mean boring.
I kept my Sunday look simple with a black jeans and a tee, my incredible CHANEL trainers and velvet CHANEL bag of course makes this outfit pretty amazing and I have just realised I can hardly call my outfit basic when I am wearing CHANEL camellia trainers. Okay let’s spin this around and lets now concentrate on the fact that you can wear a totally basic outfit but your shoes or bag can bring you from basic to phenomenal.
It’s important to not forget to invest into your flat shoes. I know so many girls that spend all their money on designer heels. Yes that’s great but you know your day shoes are just as important? Don’t forget to invest into some incredible day shoes; biker boots or trainers are my top picks.
I recently bought this cashmere cardigan from Zara. I love how thick and long it is and for £129 I thought that was a good price for a long cashmere cardigan.
